Bernard Moloney joined Moloney O’Beirne in 1982 and has extensive experience across a wide range of Healthcare in the private & public sectors.

Bernard has considerable expertise in the design of facilities for people with special needs, his projects include residential, day care and special education facilities for children and adults with an intellectual disability, mental illness, dual diagnosis and autism.

Through his research and examination of projects throughout Europe and the United States, Bernard has become one of the leading designers in this field. 

Bernard was director in charge of the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Unit in Merlin Park Regional Hospital, Galway, which received an RIAI Award Highly Commended in 2011
