The New Square Residences are an existing 19th Century residential block in the centre of the University Campus. The project involves the refurbishment and general re-organisation of the facilities in order to meet present day accommodation standards.The building had been refurbished in the latter part of the Twentieth Century and a full appraisal of the existing fabric and finishes was carried out to ensure that the present proposals are sensitive to this unique historical setting. The completed project consists of 56 apartments ranging from single bedroom studio style units for staff and more conventional 5 bedroom apartments for students.
