St. James's Co-Located Private Hospital

The Private Hospital contains 200 in-patient beds, 10 operating theatres, endoscopy day hospital, cardiac diagnostic, diagnostic imaging, minor emergency facilities, out-patients clinic and a 4 storey atrium with retail and cafe elements. The Clinical content of the Hospital is located on the lower four floors and incorporates a series of projecting blocks arranged around a central atrium. Clad in stone, the heights of these projecting blocks vary depending on the proximity and scale of the adjoining residential areas. The wards are positioned on the upper four floors of the complex and enjoy excellent views over the Linear Park and City generally. Clad largely in glass or Spandrel, these wards are designed to float over the Clinical Podium block below.
